A Power Point used to introduce new year 7 pupils to secondary school. The slides run through some of the main differences between primary school and secondary school. The later slides contain a variety of quick activities that can be used as ice breakers for a new group of pupils/form class getting to know each other.
A leavers power point (could be completed with registration class or as an assembly) to remember the year 6 time at school. There are slides with sections for you to add:
Memories of the individual class for each year they have spent at school
Memories from other teachers
Advice from the teachers for them as they go forward to secondary school.
I have included generic ideas of memories but these can be altered and changed to suit your particular year group.
In order to use this resource fully, you must be able to add images/memories of your own class.
I have used this zone board with many classes to help manage behaviour. It works will with both high and low ability classes across a whole range of age groups. Works best if laminated.
Each pupil should have their name written onto one of the cards included these can be laminated and stuck (velcro dots works well) onto the zone board.
Instructions for the zone board are included. Pupils start of green every lesson and move down the colours accordingly. The zone board should be displayed at the front of a classroom and acts as a visual reminder to the pupils of how they have been working.
There is space on the instructions for each pupil to sign and agree to the zone board rules.
A Power Point Presentation which can be used as an assembly or form time activity. The presentation contains information on the following. Tennis tournaments, Wimbledon, History of Wimbledon, Iconic Foods, Ball boys/girls, Wimbledon in 2018 and 2018 Seeds.
